Abstract

In order to put closer the deposition potentials of copper and nickel and electrodeposition of copper-nickel alloy the authors suggest a salicylate-ion and ammonia ligands combination. The article investigates the effects of bath composition, cathode current density, temperature and pH on the composition of deposits and current efficiency. The authors also consider physicomechanical properties of galvanic coating.

Key words

alloy, copper-nickel, electrodeposition, alloy composition, current efficiency, hardness, wear resistance, transient electrical resistance, internal stress.
